The large open plan living area with its three meter high gabled ceiling which is supported by exposed oak beams makes for a light bright and airy space, couple this with the large French windows in the sitting area with views across the pretty patio up to the Quantocks, one can't help but be drawn into the magic of this enchanting area. Coleridge is fitted with all the country essentials: the deep sofas perfect for curling up in after energetic walks along the coast or across the moors and of course the wood burner.
Inside or out - whatever the season, even a simple meal will be a delight. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with all the latest toys including an American style fridge freezer and an instant boiling hot water tap for teas and coffees. The elegant dining area is the perfect for enjoying the gastro feast you have whiped up and the garden great for late breakfasts, long picnics and cocktails in the summer sunlight.
Both bedrooms have beautiful silk Damask wall papers, huge beds (which are zip and link so can be super-size or twins) soft high thread count bed linens.
The master bedroom is a romantic affair with its super-king sized bed shrouded by a flowered canopy, it's pale golden silk wall paper, topped off with a luxury en-suite shower room.
The 2nd double bedroom is also a very good size and again has a super king size bed which can be separated to make twins. It too has wonderful bed linens, oh so pretty rich gold Damask silken wallpaper, and also has its own en-suite luxury shower room.
Both the luxury en-suite bathrooms have fluffy towels, Cole & Lewis toiletries and scrummy bathrobes.
The garden is south facing and is separated into two "garden rooms." The raised garden has stunning sea views and backs on to the 9,500 acres of Quantocks which are a designated AONB and SSSI. The flat patio garden room is directly outside of the cottage, and it is here that the hot tub is located set amongst the tropical plants.
For places to relax you are spoilt for choice, laze in the hammock with a good book in the shade of the big covered veranda, stretch out on the sun beds on the sun soaked patio or on the lower lawn, take a jug of Pimms, a picnic hamper and a blanket to the raised garden and sit looking out to sea, or simply eat al fresco at the front of the cottage in the starlight.
There is a BBQ and garden table and chairs, sun loungers and hammocks are also provided.

The cottage is at the top of a narrow country lane, there are passing places. The property itself is arranged over one level so it is ideal for those with restricted mobility,and parking is directly outside of the cottage. Please note that while all on one level the property is not DDA compliant. There is good Wifi coverage in the cottage and most mobiles work well. All the main supermarkets deliver.
